Apart from equipping young and motivated people with key competences for a successful career, we also offer long-term prospects in our company. The key advantages in our agency are an enjoyable, modern and competent working atmosphere and consistent expertise. A wide range of tasks and responsibilities under the best working conditions forms the basis of our daily work.
According to his statement, the excellent working conditions at dietzk. are what Aram Göbel (IT Specialist for System Integration Apprentice) likes best about working with us. Read for yourself what he has to say:
“When I returned from India 2 years ago and started my apprenticeship at dietzk., my main expectation – and my hope – were to acquire a high level of competence in the IT area.
After 2 years of training I am happy to notice that the great working atmosphere and the friendly contact to my colleagues have moved to the top of my personal ranking.
Why is that? I consider it essential for my life to wake up every morning with a positive feeling about the upcoming day and to enjoy going to work – and this is exactly what I do. How else is one supposed to become happy? In our area of work it is also of great importance not to lose one’s head in stressful situations. A positive working atmosphere among the colleagues in combination with a high level of expertise is what really allows us to master those situations. We are a very diverse team and I believe that my teammates and I complement each other excellently.
In conclusion, I would say that hardly a day goes by without me going home with the positive feeling that I did a good job and learned something new. ” Aram Göbel
Being an IT Specialist for System Integration, Aram is in charge of the internal and external server systems with regard to network configuration, domain / DNS configuration and system updates. Furthermore, he is responsible for configuring the workstations and documenting the installations and licenses. In the area of information architecture, he develops newsletters and micro websites for our clients in collaboration with the screen designers. He implements the layouts and adapts them to different browsers and E-mail clients. Last but not least, Aram also works in the field of PHP and TYPO3 development, where he adapts and develops simple applications.
David van den Breul – Director of the Information Architecture Department – does not only strive to provide his apprentice with the technical skills that are necessary for the chosen profession, but also tries to give him realistic insight to the day-to-day work and the challenges that come with it.
Robert Voll, apprentice for the profession of Digital and Print Media Design (specialized in Design and Technology), only started this training with dietzk. at the beginning of August. In this particular professional area, dietzk. relies on an apprenticeship scheme with a strong practical orientation based on industrial standards set by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce. Robert already completed an apprenticeship and possesses several years of experience as a professional. In the following, Robert explains why he decided to start another apprenticeship and what his first impressions of dietzk. are:
„I completed my first apprenticeship as a Certified Assistant Design Technician. After several years of working in this profession, I decided that the time had come for a new challenge. What really interests me in the profession of Digital and Print Media Designer are the graphic aspects in an online context.
During my first days in the Agency, a multitude of information rushed into my head, starting with the names of my new colleagues, continuing with explanations of software and working processes, and ending with how to work the coffee machine. My main task was – and still is – to process all these information and apply the newly acquired know-how.
But the challenges did not limit themselves to the company premises: As a new resident of the region, I was kept busy with tasks such as spending my first nights in a simple hostel, looking for a permanent place to stay and visiting the authorities to get the paperwork done. By now I am officially a citizen of the city of Frankfurt, although I haven’t received the welcome present that was promised to me yet due to excessive demand.
I am happy to have finally arrived in my new life and eager to start my training. It is great to know that what awaits me is a team that supports me and shares its knowledge with me. “ Robert Voll
As a Digital and Print Media Designer, Robert’s job includes design, visualization and conception of online advertising activities in consideration of graphic, technical and economic aspects as well as the creation of storyboards and animations for online advertising material. He is being supported and trained by Senior Art Director Kai Baumann.
The Screen Design Team is happy about the recent reinforcement and will gladly support Robert, knowing that the requirements concerning the creation of professional screen designs in consideration of usability and information architecture aspects can only be mastered by well-trained staff, even more so when taking into consideration the ever-tightening timings. Apart from training technical and design expertise, Robert’s apprenticeship will also focus on general communication skills which are needed for the daily collaboration with our Account Management. Furthermore, constant and independent learning is required as the foundation in order to create up-to-date, attractive and operative pieces of work.
We wish our apprentices a successful training and a great time with dietzk. Creatives GmbH & Co. KG.
